Hello! I'm Ryan Thanh-Long Vo!I'm a young Vietnamese 2D artist who likes to design backgrounds and characters. Also, I have an interest in traditional special effects.I started having a passion for drawing since elementary school. It was my way to express myself and let my imagination explore different universes. For a long time, I was more focused on character designs. However, since I had my background design class during CÉGEP, I became really interested in that field. Furthermore, while I was working on my student short film, I started to find interest in special effects too. Meanwhile, I love to explore different art styles.Right now, I graduated from UdeM in which I studied video games. I had a lot of theoric classes (history, immersion, video game studies, etc.) and some technical classes (programming, scenario, design, etc.)

Compilation of some of my recent animations.
WAKFU (2023)
Compilation of some scenes I worked on as a 2D cut-out animator for "Wakfu" Season 4! The animation was made with Adobe Animate.Some scenes/elements were animated digi-traditionally (ex: wind animation (hair/clothes), runs, etc.)
Note: "Vecto" is a step where a specific pose/expression was demanded and provided by Ankama through drawings. These drawings were recreated by an artist with the actual puppets to be later posed and animated.
F IS FOR FAMILY (2019)
Compilation of some scenes I worked on as a 2D cut-out animator for "F is for Family" Season 4! The animation was made with Harmony Toon Boom.
